Apple’s main iPhone assembler, Foxconn, has kicked off its annual recruiting drive ahead of mass production of this year’s new iPhone lineup, with the South China Morning Post reporting how the manufacturing giant is offering bonuses to new employees who join the company’s factory in Zhengzhou, China.
As reported by MacRumorsFoxconn is offering a 9,000 yuan (about $1,300) bonus to new assembly line workers who stay on the job for more than four months after being hired, helping to keep staff going through the busy winter season. ‘iPhone starting in the coming months as vendors gear up for the launch of the new iPhone in September and high demand from there.
Apple is rumored to drop the 5.4-inch iPhone ‘mini’ from its lineup this yearreplacing the model for the first time with a large 6.7-inch non-Pro iPhone.
Previous reports have suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have graphite, gold, silver and purple finishesditching the sierra blue and alpine green options of the iPhone 13 Pro.
