The new center in The Westworks building promises to be “a cutting-edge creative and technological media hub” comprised of production, post-production and live studios.
The 50,000 square foot facility will support onsite and distributed remote production workflows. Directly connected to Gravity’s UK and Metropolitan networks as well as major telecommunications partners, it will be able to support over 200 inbound and 40 outbound discrete services.
The facility will be based on a full-fledged ST2110 IP media structure with master control and remote production MCR, eight production control rooms with dedicated audio control rooms, multiple off-tube commentary booths, two studios, lighting and vision control facilities, rapid turnaround and craft assembly, flexi-desk production spaces, media management and customer desk.

The Westworks is an ideal space for expansion, located next to the former BBC Television Centre, home to ITV’s live daytime shows (such as Good Morning Britain and Loose Women) and UK TV shows. entertainment such as Saturday Night Takeaway and the Jonathan Ross Show.
Above all, it is also close to a wide range of bars and restaurants, including Soho House White City. The building offers open plan workspace overlooking the central gardens with easy access to central London.
Gravity hopes that various sports federations will be based at the facility – so that their broadcast media needs can be met internally.
The facility will also work with its Chiswick site on decentralized remote production, with the flexibility to integrate next-generation cloud-based, GPU-powered workflows.
