Halo Season 2 production begins

Halo Season 2 has officially started production in Iceland, Paramount+ announced today. The company previously announced that a second season had already been ordered even before the first aired earlier this year on the streaming service. In addition to Iceland, Halo Season 2 is set to shoot in Budapest, Hungary later this year. As expected, Pablo Schreiber (Master Chief) returns in the second season along with the rest of Silver Team.

In addition to the start of production, Paramount+ revealed that Joseph Morgan (vampire diary) and Cristina Rodlo (Nobody gets out of here alive) joined the Season 2 cast as James Ackerson and Talia Perez, respectively. Ackerson is described as “a formidable intelligence operative who has spent his career working his way up the ranks of the secret UNSC Naval Intelligence Bureau” while Perez is described as “a linguistics corporal for a communications unit at the UNSC Marine Corp and a relatively new recruit who has yet to see real combat.” In addition, Halo cast members Fiona O’Shaughnessy (Laera) and Tylan Bailey (Kessler) will return as series regulars this season.

As stated above, Halo Season 2 has started production. The first full season of Halo is now available on Paramount+. The series stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Jen Taylor as the voice of Cortana, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Charlie Murphy as Makee, and more. New series regulars for Halo Season 2 includes Joseph Morgan as James Ackerson and Cristina Rodle as Talia Perez.
