Kia India’s Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh unit is beginning mass production of the company’s next offering – Carens. The Kia Carens will be exported to 80 countries from India.
Kia Carens is the latest unveiling from the South Korean automaker. However, it is not yet marketed in our market. The launch appears to be approaching as Kia India has started mass production of the Carens and rolled the first unit off the assembly line at its Anantapur-based plant. Carens made in India will be exported to 80 other countries from India itself.
The three-row offering is referred to as a recreational vehicle by Kia. In addition, the brand claims to have tested the Carens on different terrains and even under simulated conditions before the start of mass production. Speaking of the launch schedule, the Carnival will officially go on sale in the Indian market in February 2022.
“At Kia, it’s all about inspiration, and with the Kia Carens, we’re bringing to the table a whole new set of value propositions aligned with the demands of the new-age customer. I am very excited at the start of this new journey. The Kia Carens is the fourth product we are rolling out in India. Our teams have worked tirelessly to create a product that truly reflects and resonates with modern Indian families. When customers think of a Kia, they expect cutting-edge features, a distinct design identity and an unparalleled ownership experience, which is truly reflected in the Carens.
