After a detailed demonstration at the Daltons Wadkin showroom in Nottingham, Newfields Timber chose to invest in the Elcon 215DS vertical panel saw. With a large sheet capacity of 4300 x 2150mm and a cutting depth of 55mm, the 215DS offers fast, safe and accurate panel sizing.
Optional digital readouts on the vertical and horizontal cutting axis have been specified for guaranteed cutting accuracy of 0.1mm from operator to operator. In addition, an extended heavy-duty measuring stop has been added and foot-operated transport rollers for easier loading of heavier sheets.
Newfields Timber received a turnkey delivery, installation and training service, including the removal of their existing saw to minimize disruption to their production. Daltons Wadkin invest heavily in customer support and have one of the largest teams of field service engineers in the UK to ensure equipment is expertly commissioned and maintained.
